The Imprisoned Queen
The Imprisoned Queen,
Once, master of the world,
Now, huddled in a room,
Afraid to go out.
Hissing and screaming,
Viciously she attacks,
Those who would help her.
Forever gone,
Is that sweet disposition,
Forever gone,
Are the times when she would snuggle close,
With a ready purr.
Now she is savage,
Biting the hand,
Clawing the leg,
Growling at the one who would help.Link to my list of Stories
