Public DocumentsThis is a collection of various documents on many different topics which I am making publicly available. Used to be, I would just put them in my htdoc root directory and give out links to them directly, but not have a link to them from any web page. After a bit I decided it would be handy to put them all in a directory which could be browsed as a directory, and just now I decided to slap some web pages on top of it and some of its subdirectories to pretty them up. I still have uber-mondo miscellaneous documents in my home directory, but I am resisting cataloging them until I have finished writing my "snippits" web page organization tool, which should make the task much easier. * MRAM (magnetic random-access memory) technology page (HTML) * HP PA-RISC 8700 whitepaper (175KB, PDF) * MicronTech DDR-SDRAM whitepaper (2.4MB, PDF) * Microsoft antitrust case initial ruling (98-1233) (91KB, PDF) * PowerPC EABI calling sequence (13KB, TEXT) * PowerPC EABI complete specification [Re-activated] (1.0MB, PS) * POWER4 Redbook describing IBM's latest and greatest monster processor [PDF] * The Memory Wall -- a very important look at the increasing disparity between memory bus and microprocessor cycle latencies (131KB, PS) * The 1990 WRL study of The Limits of Instruction Level Parallelism 1990 document from WRL (95KB, PDF) * The 1990 WRL study of The Limits of Instruction Level Parallelism - same document as above, but in postscript (353KB, PS) * The 1993 WRL study of The Limits of Instruction Level Parallelism - longer, newer than the 1990 version (262KB, PDF) * The 1993 WRL study of The Limits of Instruction Level Parallelism - same document as above, but in postscript (1.2MB, PS) * Hardware Prices pulled daily from Pixel USA's web site since Jan 1999 (updated from off-site repository periodically; currently runs to 2000-09-12) (TEXT, about 420 subdirectories) * Technological Singularity resources (HTML) * TTK's Code Closet - various source code fragments, libraries, and utilities for C and perl (HTML) * SB-2099 A nasty, evil federal gun control bill currently making its way through capitol hill which would oblige citizens to report their firearms on their federal income tax reports, pay extra taxes on their firearms, make citizens' tax information available to federal and state law enforcement agencies, and other really bad things (10KB, HTML) * Other Gun-Related Political Things (HTML) * CYLOOK output #2 is pretty boring .. it's a data file which I intend to reference when I write up a question to comp.arch someday when I get around to it (4KB, TEXT) * HOSTS file which causes your PC to resolve various banner-ads sites to your localhost, as a countermeasure (3KB, TEXT) Click -- Go to TTK's Home Page |
